Very disappointing. My only recourse is to share my negative experience through this review and to file a complaint through the BBB.
The flowers were never delivered. I live overseas and tried handling this through email. Both Teleflora and Moana's Florist are no longer cooperating.
Absolutely beautiful! I placed a last minute order with Moana's to have a floral arrangement sent to my mother and was completely blown away by the arrangement they put together. I let them pick the flowers and gave them the freedom to design something that was appropriate for the occasion and they couldn't have chosen better. It was the perfect mix of bright and uplifting tropical flowers!! They really took to heart the occasion and we are all so appreciative of the care they put in creating that beautiful arrangement. It really was stunning! Mahalo nui Moana's, you guys are amazing!!
Because I couldn't be there for the holiday, I ordered Thanksgiving Day flowers for family. I ordered the flowers through Moana's website, which accepted the order and charged my card.
That's not right.
First time I ordered they forgot to deliver, I had to call them. Then, when they finally delivered the flowers they forgot the balloons. I just let it go, now I ordered an orchid plant for my mom's b-day and they delivered her a totally different arrangement. I called them about it and they said "oh we didn't have plants and I try to arrange it with the same price you paid." Like I understand that, but at-least have the courtesy to call and let me know about it so I can cancel the order cause I am not happy on the arrangement they delivered.
No matter the occasion- Sunday church arrangements, holidays, memorials, just 'cuz,- the flowers are fresh, beautifully arranged, delivered on time and with consideration of the event. My family loves the service and the personal attention to remembering special little things & touches to make the giving and receiving of flowers even more special.
Admittedly, I initiated the problem by unknowingly ordering flowers for delivery to a zip code outside of Moana's delivery area. However their online ordering system accepted the order (inclusive of the out of delivery range zip code) and took the money. I would expect to get the refund - the money was taken but the services were never provided.
